Supporters of accused WikiLeaks whistle-blower Bradley Manning attend Obama 2012 fundraiser to sing protest song to the president. Later, President Obama declared Bradley guilty in a conversation with Logan Price. Recorded at the St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco CA. April 21, 2011.

"There is a long dishonourable tradition of western intellectuals who have been duped by Moscow. The list includes Bernard Shaw, the Webbs, HG Wells and André Gide. So Assange – whether for idealistic reasons, or simply out of necessity, given his legal bills and fight against extradition to Sweden – isn't the first. But The World Tomorrow confirms he is no fearless revolutionary. Instead he is a useful idiot."

"they assumed that he would slavishly serve the agenda of his benefactors because that’s what American establishment journalists largely do. It’s pure projection. Speaking of projection, Stanley ended her piece this way:

In his first foray as a talk show host, however, Mr. Assange did everything he could to minimize his prisonlike isolation and behaved surprisingly like a standard network interviewer.

The Kardashians could be next."

Otro comentarista pregunta:
"Does RadioTelevision Espanola go to ETA headquarters and say “hey fellas, how are you all doing?"

Que añade a la acusación de "useful idiot" que le hacía The Guardian: "for Assange to be an actual ‘useful idiot’ he would not have to simply keep quiet about the problems of Putin’s Russia, the main crime for which Harding excoriated him, he would have to actively and affirmatively defend Putinism’s record against its critics. He has not done so."

"I have strongly urged him to focus on the legalities that he’s dealing with and let some other people carry the torch,” says WikiLeaks organizer Birgitta Jonsdottir.

“I am not angry with Julian, but this is a situation that has clearly gotten out of hand,” she said in a telephone interview. “These personal matters should have nothing to do with WikiLeaks. I have strongly urged him to focus on the legalities that he’s dealing with and let some other people carry the torch.”

“Somebody needs to say this,” she continued. “If it means I get banned, I don’t care. I really care very much for WikiLeaks and I do consider myself to be Julian’s friend. But good friends are the people who tell you if your face is dirty. There should not be one person speaking for WikiLeaks. There should be many people
